The live broadcast charity event presentation will be at the virtual version of the world-famous Le Mans circuit on Sunday, May 30, starting at 7 PM Eastern, 4 PM Pacific. The race will be the third PCA TeamRacing Series event in 2021 and is a partnership between Carolinas Region PCA and PCA Sim Racing.

Spectators can watch the best sim racers from both PCA Sim Racing and Operation Motorsport programs compete for a Le Mans race victory and special event bragging rights.

Each team will have two racers, conducting driver changes, pit stops, and endurance racing strategy. The four-hour live broadcast will also include professional announcers, special guests, surprises, and an opportunity to support the members of Operation Motorsport with financial contributions.

Established on June 28, 2017, Operation Motorsport is a veteran-led and operated, 501(c)3 not for profit, based in Raleigh, North Carolina, and Brighton, Ontario serving American & Canadian ill, injured and wounded Service Members and disabled Veterans, affected by military service and was founded on the basis of three simple words: Excite, Engage and Empower.

“Organizations like PCA share many of the same values and we are so grateful to have found this partnership, ensuring we may continue to deliver on our mission,” said Tiffany Lodder, Executive Director of Operation Motorsport. “Community support is what it’s all about, allowing us to introduce beneficiaries to a new team and identity, and giving them a renewed purpose. Activating in motorsports brings them back into the team environment that they have lost by leaving the military.”

Operation Motorsport provides a range of Motorsports opportunities through their Motorsport Immersion and Diversionary Therapy Programs, that engage beneficiaries and provide a new sense of Team, Identity, and Purpose, aiding in their recovery and rehabilitation.

PCA Region President, Jerry Widner said, “the Carolinas Region is proud to support such a worthy and important organization. We look forward to sharing information about Operation Motorsport and this sim racing event with our Region members, and of course, watch the live race.”
