PCA Sim Racing had not previously held a 24-hour endurance race event. That was remedied on June 29-30, 2024 with the PCA24 endurance racing event at the iRacing legendary Circuit des 24 Heures du Mans. Porsche sim racing enthusiasts from PCA Sim Racing and other recognized sim racing groups competed in the live broadcast event. Six teams had the opportunity to highlight and raise money for their favorite non-profit charity.
There are many people to thank for the event. Among them is famed Voice of Le Mans broadcaster John Hindhaugh who called the start of the race. Thanks to the terrific broadcast provided by RaceSpot (RaceSpotTV). Thanks to event coordinators and PCA Sim Racers Bob Rose, Stephen Kemp, and Jochem Bakker. Thanks to the teams who selected and sponsored 6 non-profit groups.

Sponsored Beneficiaries
Thanks to the efforts of participating teams, thousands of US dollars were raised for their sponsored beneficiaries.
Alzheimer’s Foundation of America – Join us in supporting the Stallions Racing Team, backed by Charlee Mobile, at the PCA24 Le Mans race event! Your donations will benefit the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America and Operation Motorsport. Make a difference for those affected by Alzheimer’s and support our veterans through motorsport rehabilitation. Donate today and cheer on the Stallions Racing Team as they race for a cause!
American Cancer Society – Champion Motorsports is excited to be in the PCA 24 with our two GT3 cars and also supporting our chosen non-profit, the American Cancer Society. The CMS Teams will be making a donation on behalf of both of our entries and we’d also like to encourage our competitor teams, and anyone tuning into the race to also jump in and make a donation for a great cause and one of the most important charities available.
American Red Cross – Team Code Red needs your help raising funds for the American Red Cross. Just as Team “Code Red” has taken on the challenge of developing new Challenge Class drivers from the PCA ranks, we must help the American Red Cross as they take on the challenge of disaster relief, distribution of lifesaving blood, and providing lifesaving training and certification. Whether you or a loved one has given or received blood, taken a babysitting, CPR, or lifeguarding class, or received aid following a home fire, hurricane, or wildfire, you know your donation is vital to continue this valuable mission.
Cystic Fibrosis Foundation – The #17 car in today’s race invites you to support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Derek, the Team Manager, has two boys, Oliver (7) and Owen (4), who were born with cystic fibrosis. Thanks to the Foundation’s efforts, this disease that had a life expectancy of less than 30 years just a few decades ago is now on the brink of being cured. The team’s goal is to raise $2,400. Scan the QR code to help them reach their goal and contribute to a future where CF is a thing of the past. Together, we can race towards a cure!
Leukemia & Lymphoma Society – The #668 car invites you to support the Leukemia Lymphoma Society. Michael, one of the drivers, was named after his uncle who passed away due to blood cancer. The Leukemia Lymphoma Society aims to research blood cancer and to support those who are currently dealing with it. Funding the LLS will move forward our effort to cure blood cancer. Together, we can find a cure for blood cancer.
Muscular Dystrophy UK – The team of Wabbit Wacing drove for the worthy beneficiary, Muscular Dystrophy UK.
Operation Motorsport – Join in supporting veterans Matt Smothermon (US Army), Tyler Guillemette (US Navy), and Greg Meismer (US Marine Corps), as they pilot the #22 Porsche 963 Hypercar in the inaugural PCA24 sim race. Their goal is to raise $1000 to support Operation Motorsport, a non-profit organization that aids injured and wounded veterans across the US and Canada. By harnessing the power of esports and sim racing, OpMo helps veterans in their mental health recovery by reducing anxiety, promoting social interaction, and enhancing cognitive function. Donate today and empower our veterans in rebuilding Purpose, Identity, and Team.
