Andrew Smiley, Put away my iPhone.”

Bill Anderson, Check my setup and fuel level.  Breathe.”

Jose Rivas, Go to the bathroom.”

Will Waldron, “Make sure my VR headset is facing forward when I calibrate.”


What do you ensure you always do in a race?

Andrew Smiley, “Put on a fan.”

Bill Anderson, Try my best to execute my plan, manage the car and my pace to get the best result.”

The latest news on the SIM equipment front is the new DD2.5 Fanatec shipments are making their way out into racers hands. Hopefully we’ll see more competitive driving. Direct Drive is an awesome addition to every racers rig. Increased fidelity and a more realistic feel to the experience…Have Fun if

As we head full bore into summer 2021, we’ve just been given the green light to run the newest Porsche in iRacings garage…the 911 GT3R.

I’m sure we are all aquiver with nervous excitement to get this beast out on the track and test its prowess against the other marques….of course,

What do you ensure you always do before a race?

Dave Kraige, “Check that the right car setup is loaded.  Check fuel calculations.  Set placeholder services for your first pit stop.  Make sure the delta display is set right; otherwise I don’t know if I’m fast or not!

James Legault, “I’m 66. Hitting the head before a driving stint is priority #1!”

Matthew Kuekes, “Go to the restroom! Make sure all my inputs (steering, pedals) are hooked up and registering as expected. Load the Race Setup after qually!”

What do you ensure you always do before a race?

Chris Walsh, “Always know your fuel strategy, if you plan to stop, triple check calculations and know the max you need and the min you need.  Run a full race stint, understand tire wear and if you will need to take them in the race.  Practice in the hardest conditions and know how to find that extra pace for qualifying.   Don’t drink to much water either.”

The Zone Group 2 & 4 Sim Racing Coordinators welcome you to our group! To join the PCA Sim Racing Zone Group 2 & 4 (a.k.a. The Founders of Schnell) you need to be a PCA member in one of the regions in Zone 2 or 4 and be a member of the PCA Sim Racing League.

For instructions on how to join the PCA Sim Racing League, please click here. Once you join, you will automatically become a member of the Zone Group 2 & 4 Sim Racing League if you are in either Zone.
