Potential Technical Issues
- Do not connect to a PCA Sim Racing event via a wireless connection. Use only Ethernet-cabled connections.
- Any driver who has a bad connection will be alerted by Race Control and may be asked to park their car in the pits until the problem is resolved.
- If there is an additional problem or their connection remains unstable, they will, unfortunately, need to leave the server so it does not affect the race quality for other competitors.
- Drivers experiencing connection issues can rejoin the race after resolving internet problems by rebooting their computer, or router, or reducing their home Internet connection load.
- Drivers with a poor internet connection may be removed from the race.
- iRacing is suffering from an increased amount of net code problems. It is strongly suggested you watch this video to understand net code and its impact on sim racing.

Q&As
Published 9/28/2023
Q. Sunset Cruise 2 has 4 championships in total?
A. 3 championships, each on their own server per venue (track)
-
- PCA Group 963
- PCA Group GT3R
- PCA Entry Group GT3R
The Group GT3R East and West servers will run only the GT3R. It is open to the four main league driver classes Pro, Club, Sport, and Challenge who will all be on track at the same time in the GT3R.
The Group 963 East and West servers will run only the 963. It is open to the four main league driver classes Pro, Club, Sport, and Challenge who will all be on track at the same time in the 963.
The Entry Class server will run only the GT3R. It is open to Entry League drivers only, who will be running the GT3R.
Q. A driver can run in both the East and West sessions?
A. Yes.
Q. If a driver runs in both East and West in the same car, only their best result counts per venue (track)?
A. Yes.
Q. Are drivers allowed to run in GT3R in one server, and 963 in the other?
A. Yes.
Q. Can someone ‘win’ in both car classes?
A. Yes, someone can win in both Group GT3R and Group 963.
Q. If a driver runs Group GT3R in one (East or West) and Group 963 in the other, will they receive points for both groups?
A. Yes, this means a driver can hypothetically podium in both groups.
Q. If a driver runs Group GT3R in East and West, or Group 963 in East and West, only their best result points will be counted?
A. Yes. Their best point result will be counted in each respective Group.
Q. Points are for the top 20 separately for each of the classes?
A. The top 20 of each class will get points. This is because more than 20 drivers could compete in a race from Sport and/or Club, our two biggest classes.
Q. What is “multiclass” in the context of this series?
A. The term “multiclass” in this series refers to PCA Sim Racing driver classes, not different car classes. I.e. Drivers of all four main league classes will be racing together in Group GT3R and Group 963.
