A- Introduction
A.1 These Competition Rules and Guidelines (CRG) apply to all PCA Sim Racing series and special events unless otherwise stated on the event webpage. The CRG rules take precedence over the iRacing Sporting Code, which otherwise applies.
A.2 Any additional rules specific to a series or event will be published on that event’s webpage.
A.3 All drivers are responsible for reviewing and being familiar with the CRG.
B – Revisions
B.1 Any updates to the CRG after July 28th, 2026 will be listed here.
September 2nd update in green — addition of Section D for Custom Liveries.
August 7th update in blue — a further revision to definition 40.
July 28th update in red — includes new definitions for 16, 17, and 40.
B.2 The SC reserves the right to update or amend these CRGs as necessary, at any time.
C – Driver Conduct
C.1 Drivers must comply with the PCA Code of Ethics and Conduct and treat other participants in a respectful, fair, and courteous manner.
C.2 Demeaning, embarrassing, derogatory, bullying, retaliatory, or disrespectful language or actions are prohibited in any PCA Sim Racing session, on the Discord server, or in Discord direct messages.
C.3 Race Control has the authority, without prior notice or warning, to penalize, disqualify, and remove a driver from a session if any of the above are observed.
C.4 The PCA Sim Racing Steering Committee has the authority to suspend or permanently remove a driver from any/all PCA Sim Racing activities, including the Discord server and driver classes/leagues.
D – Custom Liveries
D.1 PCA Sim Racing permits and encourages custom liveries for its iRacing series, provided they comply with iRacing’s Custom Paint Policy, broadcast criteria, and the league’s specific template requirements.
D.2 Drivers must use the official livery templates provided for their respective classes (Pro, Club, Sport, Challenge) to ensure correct decal placement and visibility during broadcasts.
D.3 Custom paint schemes can be uploaded via Trading Paints or created in the iRacing Paint Shop.
D.4 Use of templates is mandatory for the series and future seasons. Templates are available for download on the PCA Sim Racing website in the series overview section.
D.5 Logos available directly in the iRacing Paint Shop under the “Paint Your Car” tab may be used without express permission from the owner. Examples include Heusinkveld, Michelin, Mobil 1, Racespot, SimShop, and others.
D.6 For any recognizable logos not included in the iRacing Paint Shop “Paint Your Car” tab, drivers must be prepared to provide proof from the logo owners that their use is acceptable. D.6 pertains to both liveries you design yourself and those available on Trading Paints, as many liveries include unsanctioned logos.
D.7 These rules will take effect on January 1, 2027.
