Scoring

Series 16 Awards

• The podium finishers for Pro, Club, Sport, and Challenge will receive a commemorative trophy.
• The 10 best Pro class finishers receive the SuperPro designation for Series 17.

Clean Racer Award (CRA)

Objective: Reward clean RACING behavior in PCA Series competition.

Overview & Awards

• Winner: The driver with the fewest total Incident points (“x” points).
• Awards: 5 total awards (1 for the Overall field + 1 for each of the 4 class winners).

Tiebreaker Rules

• iRacing Tie Breaker Rules will be used to calculate any tie-breakers in the final class or overall standings.

Scoring Rules

• iRacing Incident Points (“x” points): All ‘x’ points assigned during the start and race phases count, including any issued after a driver takes the checkered flag (iRacing continues issuing ‘x’ points until the last car receives the checkered flag).
• License Penalty Points (LPPs): All LPPs issued to a driver are added directly to their total ‘x’ count.
• LPPs on Dropped Races: LPPs are always counted towards a driver’s total, even if that specific race result is dropped.

Race Participation & Drop Race Logic

• Minimum Participation: Drivers must race in at least 7 out of 8 races.
• Drop Race Determination: If a driver competes in all 8 races, the race dropped for the CRA is determined by the lowest points scored in the Series Standings (NOT based on lowest incident points).
• Disqualification (DQ): A DQ race cannot be dropped under any circumstances.
• Complete Race: Drivers must run to the completion of the race and end with a running status as assigned by iRacing. Disconnecting anytime prior to the end of the race makes the race ineligible.

Disqualifications & Ineligibility

• A driver will be rendered ineligible for the CRA if they receive a penalty under CRG sections: C1.9, C1.11, C1.12, C1.13, or D1.16.

2026 Grid Pass

• PCA Sim Racing Drivers: Series 16 (S16) requires GridPass to enter.
• GridPass enables PCA Sim Racing to live broadcast and deliver live race control for all 32 Series 16 races in Pro, Club, Sport, and Challenge classes.
