Introduction

Team endurance racing returns for a new season at PCA Sim Racing!

The Team Racing Series (TRS) is built around true multiclass competition, where teamwork, strategy, and racecraft matter just as much as outright pace. Multiple drivers share a single car, managing stints, traffic, and long-run consistency while racing across different performance classes on track at the same time.

For the 2026 season, TRS features two Porsche factory platforms:

  • Porsche 963 GTP
  • Porsche 911 GT3 R

The series will run across five endurance events, aligned with the IMSA calendar and corresponding 2026 iRacing Special Events Calendar, delivering authentic endurance-racing conditions and race lengths that reward preparation and discipline.

Teams will compete not only for Car Class victories but also for Team Category championships. Podiums will be awarded in each Car Class across Pro, Club, Sport, and Challenge, creating meaningful battles throughout the field and ensuring every team has something to race for.

This is endurance racing the way it’s meant to be raced — strategic, demanding, and decided by the strength of the team, not just the speed of a single driver.

Team Criteria

To provide the most flexibility to the teams and drivers so they can commit to the entire season — and help fill the grid! — The following rules will be used for all teams in the 2026 TRS.

  • The Team consists of 2 drivers with any number of alternate drivers.
  • Drivers DO need to be declared.
  • At least one of the original 2 drivers that begin the season on a specific team must always race for that same team in subsequent races to be scored.
  • Additionally, alternate drivers cannot be a higher-categorized driver than either of the original 2.
  • Original drivers can compete for another team in a subsequent race.
  • A 2026 GridPass is required for all participants.
