Q:  What is a GridPass?
A:  It is your yearly ticket giving you access to all PCA Sim Racing activities, including:

*If you’re new, you’ll need to complete your checkride to get access to most of these.

Q:  Why do I have to buy a GridPass?
A:  To help cover the expenses incurred by PCA Sim Racing. PCA National provides great financial support to PCA Sim Racing. That support covers some but not all of PCA Sim Racing’s two major expenses: live broadcast events and live race control.

Q:  I’m new here and just want to try out PCA Sim Racing. Is there a free trial period?
A:  No. Your onboarding session will give you a good introduction to all the activities in PCA Sim Racing. By proceeding, you are immediately able to participate in our Entry eDE program and take advantage of the real-time instruction, practices, and races.

Q:  Is the GridPass fee prorated if I join partway through the year?
A:  No. Just like PCA Club Racing, you pay for a full year regardless of when you sign up.

Q:  I won’t be doing live broadcast/live Race Control events. Why do I still have to pay?
A:  It helps keep the cost of GridPass down. And who knows? You might decide to jump in!

Q:  I don’t care about the live race control and broadcasts. Why doesn’t PCA Sim Racing just drop them?
A:  Over 80% of driver responses to our surveys note that live race control and broadcasts are highly valued; they are part of what sets PCA Sim Racing apart from other leagues, and support paying for them.

Q:  If broadcasts are so desirable, why are the TRS races not being broadcast for 2027?
A:  There was not high viewership for these longer races. Some special event races, such as the Operation Motorsport benefit race, will be broadcast live, February 21st.

Q:  Why is the new Clubsport Challenge not getting broadcast or live race control?
A:  We’re testing the waters with this new activity this year. If it takes off with good participation, those are options to be considered in the future. We are considering the possibility of live race control and/or a broadcast for the final race of the year.
