This week the Zone 1 champion race series will begin.

On Monday, November 30th, we will have an eDE starting at 7 PM Eastern time, hosted by master racer, James Huth, who will walk us through the venue for the first race, Road America, and also takes us through some drills to improve our racing skills.

On Wednesday, December 2nd, again at 7 PM Eastern, we will have a Prelude, a practice race, with an hour of practice, 10 minutes of qualification, and 40 minutes of racing.

The Tuesday before Thanksgiving saw PCA Sim Racing drivers compete in a fun exhibition race at Road Atlanta, the Turkey Trot.

The one-hour, multi-class race was put on by the Central Zone Group (Zones 5, 10 & 13) to get drivers from all over North America together during the winter off-season. Within the first twenty minutes of registration, the field hit capacity with over sixty drivers ultimately taking to the grid. Skill levels of drivers varied in this event with all four PCA driver classes represented.

Opening Night for Zone Group 5, 10 & 13

The Zone Group kicked off their season last night at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. PCA members fielded the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup and the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport MR in an exciting form of multiclass Porsche racing.

The race was an hour in length along the challenging 2.4-mile course known for its elevation changes and technical turns.  Mid-Ohio is a challenge even for many veterans of the sports car world.
