Series 6

By Doug Atkinson, Lone Star Region PCA

Series 6 ran in April & May 2021 with PCA Challenge and PCA Sport classes running the RUF Track car, and PCA Club and PCA Pro running the Porsche GT3 Cup car. The eight-week series ran on Wednesday nights, a first for PCA Sim Racing. Every previous series had been run on Friday evenings. It was the second-largest attended PCA Sim Racing Series to date.

Series 3

Series Review

Series 3 kicked off on the heels of a successful Series 2 with a few notable changes: the Porsche 911 (991.2) GT3 Cup car running short track layouts across five renown North American tracks – Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (MoSport) (Ontario, Canada); Lime Rock Park (Lakeville, Connecticut); Circuit of the Americas (Austin, Texas); Watkins Glen International (Watkins Glen, New York); and Road Atlanta (Braselton, Georgia) – and introduction of multi-class classifications.

The wildly popular rear-engine GT racing car with no traction control or ABS rewarded Racers with finesse footwork and steering control,

Series 1

Series Review

Series 1 marked the beginning of the inaugural season of the PCA Sim Racing Series. It featured the iRacing Porsche 911 (991.2) GT3 Cup cars – the original intent of the series was to emulate the PCA Club Racing format on a simulator platform, racing at venues that are used for the official PCA Club Racing Series. As expected, most of our PCA members were proficient in driving high-performance cars but were faced with the challenges of wheel-to-wheel racing.

Series 4

By Matthew Mitchell, Peachstate Region PCA

Series Review

The Porsche Club of America Sim Racing Series 4 proved to be the best series yet. Offering our club members the excitement of racing at home with other members. It allowed fans of our drivers, the PCA, and iRacing to watch live racing at home in the midst of a stay at home order with no other live racing happening. Allowing a way for our club members to stay connected, and have fun.

Series 4 saw the most growth of members ever. The growth was so large in fact, that the race times had to

Series Review

Seven races, some of the most famous North American tracks, a packed field of screaming Porsche 911 RSRs each with distinct liveries carrying PCA Sim Racers representing each driver’s PCA Regional Clubs in North America, and a live broadcast with professional commentators following actions up-and-down the field – this pretty much sums up Series 2.

The Podium eSports live broadcast with professional commentators closely followed the professional-grade wheel-to-wheel action throughout the field across all races, showcasing some of the most action-packed scenes in e-motorsports.
