October 13th

  • As done with the previous Sim Racing Series, post-race IRR validated incidents will receive a 20 second additional penalty time to represent the ingress/egress pit time had the penalty been served during the event. This is in addition to the penalty itself for the incident.
  • Any points acquired post-race cannot be rescinded unless it is an incident with another car, and then it should be submitted as an IRR.
  • Updated file. This download is totally elective and not required! But if you do screenshots, streaming, and want your replays to show the correct numberplates and

2021 Interlude Summer Fun Series

What do you get when you combine eighty-five PCA Sim Racers, eight incredibly technical tracks, and hot Summer Friday nights? The 2021 Summer Fun Series, that’s what!

The hallmark of this series, and really our entire PCA Sim Racing culture, has been in how different Zone Groups have contributed to its success. While the “Wild West Zones” (PCA Zones 6, 7, 8, 9, 11 & 14) have played host, the “Wildcats” (PCA Zone 1), “The Founders of Schnell” (PCA Zones 2 & 4), PCA Zones 3 & 12, and the “Central Zone Group” (PCA Zones 5,

Series 6

Series 6 ran in April & May 2021 with PCA Challenge and PCA Sport classes running the RUF Track car, and PCA Club and PCA Pro running the Porsche GT3 Cup car. The eight-week series ran on Wednesday nights, a first for PCA Sim Racing. Every previous series had been run on Friday evenings. It was the second-largest attended PCA Sim Racing Series to date.

Prelude

Prelude Returns!

Back by popular demand is the national Prelude series running during Series 6.

Events will be held on Monday evenings before the Wednesday Series 6 event and run concurrently.

All races have the following common schedule:

  • 45-minute practice – 9:00 PM Eastern / 6:00 PM Pacific
  • 10-minute qualifying – 9:45 PM Eastern / 6:45 PM Pacific
  • 30-minute race – 9:55 PM Eastern / 6:55 PM Pacific

Races will approximate the settings for Series 6, but because of the variable nature in Series 6 settings, there will be some differences in the specific settings such as temperature on track.

Series 5, Event 8 Recap at Daytona RC

The finale of the Porsche Club of America’s Series 5 took place at the Daytona Road Course through iRacing. Our event started off with an interview hosted by our Podium eSports announcer James Pike with Justin Moreno, the Vice President of Marketing at Hagerty. Justin told us about his involvement with PCA Sim Racing and how it benefited him personally with his real-life driving events. He also explained about Team Hagerty and the passion they have for elevating and promoting driving events amongst enthusiasts.
